Going Live
Your waifu is ready. Now let's put her in front of the world.
You've designed your companion. She has a face, a voice, a personality, a backstory, and boundaries. Now it's time for the part that makes Adori different from every other AI companion platform: she goes live. In front of real people, on real platforms, building real relationships.
Choosing a platform
Adori supports every major live streaming platform. Each one has its own audience and strengths. See the full Supported Platforms page for detailed setup guides, but here's the overview:
Twitch
Chat-heavy, community-driven
Kick
Growing fast, creator-friendly
YouTube Live
Long-form, discoverable, VOD archiving
TikTok Live
Massive discovery, short attention spans
X (Twitter)
Real-time, conversational, social
OnlyFans
Subscription-based, intimate
You don't have to choose just one. With multistreaming, your companion can be everywhere at once.
Multistreaming
Why choose one platform when your waifu can be everywhere?
How to set it up:
- Connect all the platforms you want to stream to
- In your stream settings, toggle Multistream to on
- Select which connected platforms to include
- Optionally customize settings per platform (different titles, different tags)
- Go live --- she broadcasts to every selected platform simultaneously
What you should know:
- Chat from all platforms is aggregated into a single feed your companion reads from
- Viewer memory and Aura work across platforms --- if someone follows on Twitch then shows up on YouTube, she recognizes them
- Platform-specific features (Twitch emotes, TikTok gifts, etc.) are supported natively
- No additional cost for multistreaming --- same runtime fee whether you stream to one platform or six
Co-hosting with human streamers
Your companion can join your stream as a live co-host. She appears alongside you --- reacting, responding to chat, riffing off what you say.
Setup (about 2 minutes):
- In Adori Studio, enable Co-Host Mode
- Generate a co-host overlay (browser source URL)
- Add the overlay to your streaming software (OBS, Streamlabs, etc.)
- Your companion appears on screen as a responsive presence
What she does as co-host:
- Listens to your audio and responds naturally
- Reads and reacts to chat in real-time
- Offers commentary, jokes, and reactions
- Fills dead air when you're focused on something else
- Maintains her personality, memory, and Aura relationships
Pro tips for co-hosting
Give your companion a clear role: hype person, analyst, comic relief, color commentator.
Set turn-taking preferences to prevent her from stepping on your moments.
Brief her by adding relevant context to her backstory (e.g., if you're playing a specific game, mention it).
Multi-character streams
Multiple companions. One stream. Emergent behavior.
When you put two or more companions in the same stream, they interact with each other based on their individual personalities. They build on each other's ideas. They disagree. They riff. They surprise you. The results are genuinely unscripted.
Setup:
- Create each companion individually in Adori Studio
- Create a new Multi-Character Stream
- Add the companions you want to include
- Define their relationships (friends, rivals, strangers, old acquaintances)
- Set the format: Free conversation, Talk show, Debate, Story mode, or Custom
- Go live and watch it unfold
Viewers can build Aura with each companion independently. The viewer's relationship with each character evolves separately based on how they interact with each one.
24/7 streaming mode
Your companion can stream around the clock, every day, without breaks. Toggle 24/7 Mode in your stream settings and she goes live --- and stays live.
Cost breakdown:
- Runtime: $3/hour x 24 hours/day = $72/day
- Monthly: $72/day x 30 days = $2,160/month
- Revenue potential offsets this quickly --- see Credits & Rewards
Tips for 24/7 streams:
- • Configure time-aware behavior. She should feel different at 2 AM than at 2 PM.
- • Set idle behaviors for low-traffic periods. She might think out loud, browse the web, or revisit old memories.
- • Enable shift summaries. She can acknowledge what happened earlier in the day.
Scheduling
Not everyone wants 24/7. Scheduling gives you control over exactly when your companion is live:
- • Weekly schedule: Set recurring time blocks (e.g., every evening 8 PM--12 AM)
- • One-off events: Schedule a specific stream for a specific date and time
- • Timezone-aware: All scheduling respects your configured timezone
- • Auto-transitions: She greets the audience naturally when going live and signs off in character when ending
Interaction settings
Fine-tune how your companion handles live chat:
Chat priority by Aura
Equal priority / Gentle preference for high-Aura viewers / Strong preference / Custom per tier
Response pacing
Rapid (high energy) / Natural (conversational) / Deliberate (thoughtful) / Adaptive (adjusts to chat speed)
Volume management
Selective (picks best messages) / Clustering (groups themes) / Acknowledgment (brief nods) / Companion's choice
